Looks like they solved the packaging issue
Prior reviewers complained of inadequate packaging and product damage upon arrival. It appears that Sanyo and/or Amazon listened and addressed the issue. I received by fridge in Feb 2011, and it came through in great shape and completely undamaged. The box was sturdy and each side of the fridge was further protected by a
