Beware
We have a Scotsman compact refrigerator and are surprised and very disappointed to find there is no light provided by these very expensive producers of built in bar refrigerators. There is no way to add a light and since most all are installed at floor level, it requires one to get down on the floor and look into the back using a flashlight to see what is inside when it is evening light.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I ordered this item to convert a used mini fridge into a man cave focal point. It was just what the doctor ordered. Each item came indivually packed in a larger box with no damage noted from the shipping process which was pretty quick. All items are well constructed and I suspect the tower/tap will function for years to come. You cannot go wrong with this item.

Some thoughts for those wanting to do a conversion:

1. When considering a one tap tower vs. a two tap tower remember that keg beer is unpasteurized and lasts only 1-1.5 months. The smallest standard keg (1/6 barrel) holds something like 5.3 gallons. So unless you have a lot of beer drinkers all the time a two tap tower might be an unnecessary added cost.

2. I wouldn't recommend buying a new mini-fridge as you run the risk of destroying it if you drill the beer line hole in the wrong location. It took only a few days of looking around online (Craigslist) to find a used one for $60 that would fit...

Great kit except for the regulator.
I installed this kit in a mini-fridge that I was not using anymore. Very easy to install with the right tools. The only problem I had was with the CO2 regulator. The low-pressure side would slowly rise to 40psi even with the adjustment screw out all of the way. I ordered a TapRite brand regulator and now my kegerator works and pours perfectly.

Just make sure your fridge can keep temperatures below or at 40F. Also, the instructions say to run CO2 pressure at 10-12psi, but I find I get better pour at only 3-5psi. At 10psi, my system pours too fast and it is very foamy (half glass of foam at least). At 5psi or lower, it pours a perfect mug of cold beer. I'm new to home draft beer systems, so maybe it's just me. If somebody with more experience has other tips, please let me (us) know.

Hopefully my faulty regulator was a fluke. Even though I had to replace the regulator, you get everything you need to convert an old fridge to a kegerator and the chrome tower and...

good fridge. dont like the can dispensor. i dont drink pop or beer. and its a waste of space for me. the design is clevor for someone who does consume canned beverages but for me its a pain. i cant utilize the space.

A solid mini-fridge, with fairly shoddy packaging.
The product itself is excellent. It works, well!, except for the freezer, which is fairly standard. It's got plenty of room, not much wasted space and was shipped relatively quickly.

However, the packaging was less than impressive. It's got a dent in the door and seems to of been knocked around quite a bit in the shipping process, something that adequate packaging would of prevented, I'm sure.

But I plugged it in, and it works just great and has continued to since the day I plugged it in.
Never buy it
They cancel the order after a week without any reason. It is really embarassing experience that I never have gotten.

disappointing
Initially excited to find this product but ended up returning it as the cooling packs definitely did NOT stay cold for eight hours. Food was room temperature well before the end of the day. Also found it awkward to pack.

Fridge to Go
Nice product for carrying lunch to work.Keeps contents cool for several hours Zipper needs to be of better quality. First one purchased had to be return for broken zipper after first day of use. The second one received is working properly.
Disappointing Purchase
I LOOOOOVE my Fridge-To-Go two bottle cooler. I take it everywhere with me and it lastts 8+ hours of keeping the contents refrigerator cold. Once my son started school, I wanted a nice sized lunch bag that would last the entire day (I leave the house at 6:30am and pick him up at 3:30pm). I wasn't surprised to see that the cold packs were slim because they are slim in my two bottle cooler as well. It's nice that they are removable from the bag itself to save precious freezer space. However, the slim cold packs are probably just too slim to keep the contents refrigerator cold for more than 4-5 hours. It's more ideal for an adult that only needs to keep the contents cold until lunch time. My son has afternoon snack in there and milk and it just doesn't hold the cold long enough.

I bought this to replace my PACK-IT lunch bags, which I thought were a horrible failure. As it turns out, I need to have multiple PACK-ITs because each bag needs to be frozen for a minimum of...

Great of produce
I greatly disagree with the other review. I have had these for years and my produce on average last 3 times as long. The item will eventally pay for itself when fresh produce is not being thrown in the trash. I love it and recommend it.

Keeps fruits and veggies fresh
I purchased the small FridgeSmart medium and the small for use in our kitchen. We frequently buy items in bulk and need to wash and keep separate. The small container is perfect for grapes, lemons and other fruit. It is also ideal for oranges and brocolli crowns. This container when set properly will keep your fresh food fresh. It is also easy to clean. The only drawback was that the lid is somewhat difficult to apply. I also wish it had the valve settings like the medium one does. Overall, this container helps me in the kitchen.
It seemed like such a good idea...
For basic storage, I usually use Pyrex or Rubbermaid. But for the truly innovate stuff, Tupperware rules. So, I was really happy to find this, and looking forward to storing my ginger and galangal root in the fridge, and having it stay fresh.

The box sucks. The lid is stiff and doesn't fit very well (it's not made from HDPE like most Tupperware lids). The vent holes aren't big enough to let out moisture, which condenses on the sides and runs back onto the food. The ribs on the bottom are shallow and wide, which is probably great for washing the box, but my ginger, kumquats, pear tomatoes, etc fall right between them, right into the water that has collected. Mold city.

The little booklet that came with the box tells you how much venting various kinds of produce needs, so you can open one hole, or two, or none. I kept the booklet, bought some Rubbermaid serve-n-saver boxes and punched some holes in them, and am using the Tupperware box for recipe cards.
