This is an exact replica of the famous Westinghouse Junior Coke Machine that was so popular in the "Mom and Pop" stores of the 1930s and 40s. This self-serve cooler will be quite a conversation piece at your home or office! The original machine was used where a clerk was present to collect the money, which makes it ideal for home use. It enjoys an all-metal construction with embossing on all sides and under the lid, like the original. There is no bottle mechanism or coin mechanism to get in the way of any use. Don't miss the bottle opener detail on the outside, either. Vendo Corporation later purchased this machine from Westinghouse and fitted it with coin-operated top so bottle Cokes could be vended from it. This original machine was made entirely for Coca-Cola, and no other brands were used. One of the attractions of this machine is its beautiful embossing. The cooler has the Coca-Cola logo on all four sides as well as under the lid so it could be read when the top was opened. Additionally, it has "ICE COLD" embossed on the front and back. As with all our products, we've kept this machine as close to the original as possible. For example, the rubber seals under the lid are screwed on, the cap catcher and bottle opener are exactly like the original and we even included wheels on the bottom like the original for easy movement. You open the lid and you have a deep box to place cans, bottles or anything else you want to keep cool. This machine will hold 80 cans of soda. If you have the refrigeration model you even have more room for something else on top.

Great Coca-Cola Machine!
I bought this Coke machine from Amazon, and I had some reservations about buying it from the other review posted. First of all, if you are a Coca-Cola drinker, or like soda in general, you should get this. This thing looks great and has a great vintage look. Westinghouse actually made these machines in the '30s and '40s, and according to the manual, this machine was built to the exact specs of that machine. The manual says that the parts in this machine, and the old Westinghouse Junior machines are interchangable, which I thought was cool. I bought some Coke in glass bottles at my local Weis grocery store, and put them in, and they got ice cold in just a few hours. This thing looks like something Rick Dale restored. Takes me back to my childhood
I love this! I purchased this retro coke frig on Amazon.com and got it within the week. UPS wasn't gentle with it, so it left a tiny bump near the bottom but that was something that I was okay with and I will tell you why. The machine is amazing! Yes, it makes a small amount of noise when it is cooling but when the drinks are at the ice cold temp they need to be, the unit stops chilling until the temp drops again. Then it goes back on. I've had it for several weeks now and the machine works beautifully! The door closes tight and it's all in perfect working condition. I would buy it again!
The soda we get out of the machine is ice cold and ready to drink. My 17 year old son loves it! We love especially buying glass bottles for this unit as we can find them in the local grocery stores. Nice cooler.The door doesnt close completly and its a little loud when the compressor kicks on.Its great for an outdoor pavilion. We put a weight on the door to keep it closed.
